Bobcat Company, Inc. designs, manufactures, and supplies compact equipment for global construction, rental, landscaping, agriculture, grounds maintenance, government, utility, industrial, and mining markets. It offers skid-steer loaders, compact track loaders, mini track loaders, compact excavators, and telehandlers; and attachments and implements, which include augers, grapples, hydraulic breakers, plate compactors and trenchers, and others. The company also provides utility vehicles and utility work machines. In addition, it rents compact equipment and attachments; and provides parts and support services. The company offers its products through a network of dealers. Bobcat Company, Inc. was formerly known as Melroe Manufacturing Company and changed its name to Bobcat Company, Inc. in 1999. The company was founded in 1947 and is based in West Fargo, North Dakota. As of November 30, 2007, Bobcat Company, Inc. operates as a subsidiary of Doosan Infracore Co. Ltd.
