Anglo American, one of the world’s largest coal producers, has released a new video showcasing the opportunities and careers available to women in the coal business. In the video, women employed at one of Anglo’s metallurgical coal operations in Australia discuss their entry into the mining industry and their story of success.

The mining industry has historically been a male dominated industry. Men currently hold more than 90 percent of executive positions while women control a meager eight percent of executive committee positions. That’s starting to change as more employees retire opening the trillion dollar industry’s door to female successors.
