A cloud-solution database and CRM platform, designed to connect mining companies to their suppliers, has been launched across the mining industry.

rapidBizApps, a leading provider of apps, software and cloud solutions for mining companies and suppliers, has officially launched the Map-a-Mine mobile app.

Created as a leads database and CRM platform, Map-a-Mine has data on more than 15,000 mining and aggregate operations to help connect vendors and allow them to strategically identify their best sales targets and prioritise their pipeline.

The app will also allow equipment and resource providers to better identify opportunities and the needs of prospective mining customers. The software will store updated information on employees, fleets, equipment and current mining operations in order to better inform sales teams on potential opportunities.

“Map-a-Mine improves sales by providing actionable intelligence on important factors that vendors need to be successful,” said Satish Penmetsa, CEO, rapidBizApps. “Real-time information about fleet locations, recent sales and maintenance schedules for example, is valuable intelligence that sales teams can use to pinpoint their best prospects. We’re excited to use our expertise in developing software for mining companies to support sales teams focused on this space.”

Based in Silicon Valley, rapidBizApps is the leading provider of productivity software for the mining and oil & gas industries.

The company also delivers two other mining mobile solutions, a fleet management and production control software solution for underground mining (groundHog) and fleet maintenance software to allow managing and tracking heavy equipment maintenance and inspections remotely (rapidInsect).
