Runge Pincock Minarco (RPM) announced today the launch of its latest Operational Mining Integration (OMI) software for the mining sector.

The new software, which aims to enhance reporting capabilities, will allow users to share data seamlessly between enterprise resource planning systems, RPM scheduling products and financial modeling products.

The upgraded OMI platform enables users to analyze enterprise level data and operational mine site data more efficiently. The OMI technology links RPM’s industry products to enterprise business and reporting systems such as a company’s ERP system. The newly released platform assists users in better understanding of integrated production and financial data from multiple operational sites.

According to Craig Halliday, RPM’s Head of Software, users can now compare planned production from their scheduling system with actual production figures from their enterprise systems in one report. In addition, the newly updated OMI system has enhanced security features that operate Active directory information and inherit permissions to transfer or retrieve data from ASAP.

OMI 1.2 is now available for all enterprise enabled RPM products including XACT, XERAS, Open Pit Metals XPAC Solutions, Open Pit Diamonds XPAC Solutions and Oil Sands XPAC Solutions.

Runge Pincock Minarco is a mining advisory and consulting service specializing in mining software and mining professional development courses.
